Tiny Treasures is licensed by the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services. We offer
half- day programs for children ages 3-5 yrs.
Children must be 3 years old on or before December 31st of the school year and toilet trained. We maintain a 1:7 teacher/child ratio, with a maximum class size of 21 children and 3 teachers.

We offer two different programs from which you can choose:

   - TWO mornings/week on Tuesday and Thursday

   - THREE mornings/week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Our school year starts in September and runs until the middle of June with a break at Christmas and in March. Our classes are two and a half hours in length and include a wide variety of learning activities, all of which are based on Christian principles.

What will your child learn?

Our thematic curriculum offers our students a wide variety of topics, taught through
circle time, crafts, physical activity, and story time. Other learning activities incorporate art, music, physical movement, language, science and special activities.

Some of our weekly themes include Colors, Shapes, Numbers, Weather, and Music,

as well as seasonal themes such as Apples, Pumpkins, Mittens, Penguins, Sunflowers,

and many more to help prepare your child for their first years of school.

Our program is designed to promote skills in learning, social interaction,
responsibility, independence, and school readiness.
Time is given each day for free play and a nutritious snack is provided.
